Most arbitrage finders are built for the US or European markets: they scan hundreds of bookmakers, of which a handful are open to Australians. BetBank's arbitrage betting finder starts from the other end. It prices the Australian bookmakers first — Sportsbet, TAB, Ladbrokes, Neds, PointsBet, bet365, Unibet, Betr, Dabble, Picklebet and the Betfair exchange among 25+ Australian books — and adds the offshore and sharp books on top, so every arb it shows is one you can actually place from Australia. Odds refresh every few seconds and each opportunity carries the stake split, the return at those prices and one-click links to both bookmakers.
Arbitrage betting (also known as 'arbing') means backing every possible outcome of an event across different bookmakers at prices that pay back more than your total stake whichever side wins. The result is set by the prices you get, so price moves, bet limits and voids can still cost you. When bookmakers disagree on the probability of outcomes, pricing discrepancies create arbitrage opportunities. Our tool scans 75+ bookmakers in real time to find these opportunities and calculates exact stake amounts needed to lock in a profit at the prices shown.
Yes. The BetBank arbitrage betting finder is free to use. You can scan live arbs across 75+ bookmakers, see optimal stakes and check the profit at the prices shown before placing any bet, with no credit card required to get started.
Yes. On paper, backing every outcome at prices whose implied probabilities add up to less than 100% sets the same return whichever side wins. In practice the result is only locked in at the prices you actually get: odds can move between your bets, a bookmaker can void or cancel a bet, and stakes or accounts can be limited. Any of these can turn an arb into a loss.
Typical arbitrage opportunities return 1-5% ROI per bet. With a $10,000 bankroll and 5-10 arbs per day you could generate $200-500/week. Profits scale with bankroll size and speed of execution.
Speed is critical. Odds can change within seconds. Most successful arbers place both sides within 30-60 seconds. Pre-funded accounts and quick access to multiple bookmakers are essential.
Arbitrage betting is legal. Bookmakers can still limit or close accounts of consistent winners under their own terms, so read them before you start.
Only use money you can afford to lose. An arb needs funds at both bookmakers involved at the same time, so the stake you can place is capped by the smaller of the two balances.
This is the main practical risk. If odds move against you after the first bet, you may need to accept reduced profit or a small loss on that opportunity. Speed and live-odds monitoring keep this rare.
Yes. Bonus bets, refund offers and odds boosts can be hedged at another bookmaker using the same maths. A bonus bet usually converts into withdrawable cash worth around 60-80% of its face value, as long as both prices hold when you place the bets.
Tennis and soccer tend to have the most frequent arbitrage opportunities due to the large number of bookmakers and high liquidity. NBA, NFL and MLB also offer regular opportunities, especially around props and alternative lines.
