Free bonus bet calculator
Back the bonus bet at one bookmaker and cover the other outcome elsewhere, sizing the cover so both results are equal. For a stake-not-returned bonus the cash you keep is the bonus times (price - 1), minus the cover stake. Enter the bonus, its price and the cover price below.

The live version
The live converter finds the prices for you: it pairs your bonus bookmaker with the best cover across the bookmakers and Betfair, with the conversion rate on every row.
Worked example. A $50 stake-not-returned bonus at 4.00, covered at 1.30: the bonus pays $150.00 if it wins, so the cover stake is $115.38 and the result is $34.62 either way, a 69.2% conversion rate, at those prices.
What it assumes. That both bets are placed at the prices you enter and both stand. It cannot see price moves, stake limits or a bookmaker voiding one side, and it does not check the bonus terms (minimum price, expiry, which markets count).

It depends on the two prices, so enter yours. The calculator shows the cash you keep and the share of the bonus that is, which is the number to compare between bookmakers and between cover options.
A stake-not-returned bonus pays only the winnings if it wins; the bonus stake itself is not paid back. A stake-returned bonus pays the stake back as well, so it converts for more cash.
Either works. Backing at another bookmaker has no commission. Laying on an exchange can give a better price, and the calculator deducts the commission you enter. Compare both with your actual prices.
A refund-as-bonus after a loss is a bonus bet, so yes. For a plain price boost, use the hedge or back and lay calculator instead.
